totally freaking

totally freaking

long vent....
i was having issues with my eyes, like a rash on my eye lids... i thought it was from my contacts, so i stopped wearing them, but still had this issue....

then starting last week it was ALL OVER MY FACE, i mean every inch of my face was covered by tiny bumps!!! getting worse and worse every day!

so this past friday we went to see South Pacific, and got all dressed up and COVERED my face with make up to try to hide them, WELL it turns out it was my face powder that was causing the bumps!!!! must be allergic to it (im allergic to everything, i need to be in a bubble). I went to the jets game the sunday before and put it all over my face as well, which is why it started happening to my whole face.....
and because i kept using it to cover them all week it was making it worse and worse! and because i covered my face with it on Friday night I seriously looked disgusting. it was soooo scaley, bumpy and gross! im pretty sure the powder is the culpret, because i usually wear undereye conceler and put powder over it, only on my eyes, and thats where it was really bad. then for whatever reason i used it all over for the jets game.

so i started putting cortosone cream ALL over my face for the past couple of days, 3-4 times a day. its been helping BUT, its not totally gone and i have my e-pics on Thursday!!!!! i hope it goes away by then!

Aw, Lis!! Youll be ok by thursday Im sure! Just keep on treating it!

You should get Hypoallergenic makeup....I have to use it too because I am allergic to a lot of makeup for some odd reason!

Ugh, that's happened to me before. That s*cks! Just keep treating it and don't wear ANY make-up and it'll clear up in no time.

That has happened to me before. My skin is super super sensitive.

Stop using it or it will only get worse. See a derm if you can so they can help determine what the ingredient is that is causing your skin to irritate. Also cortizone is a quick fix for now.

Re: totally freaking

I would recommend going to a dermatologist. If you try to treat it yourself you may make it worse...especially if the bumps are being caused by some type of bacteria.

Awww, I'm sorry...! Can you reschedule your e-pics just in case? Also if you are having your makeup done professionally, call her and ask if she can cover up any bumps and if she uses hypoallergenic makeup!
