Totally horrifying dream...anyone else have these?
I had the WORST dream last night, complete NIGHTMARE.I dreamt that my fi died on our honeymoon. We haven't booked our honeymoon yet, but needless to say I don't think we will be going to Aruba.
Has anyone else had nightmares like this? I am so freaked out. I cried for an hour this morning!

Re: Totally horrifying dream...anyone else have these?
Its totally normal to have nightmares as the wedding day is approaching. Yours was really bad. I had one that I was 2 hours late for the church so the priest told me he couldn't marry us and all the guests were leaving.

Re: Totally horrifying dream...anyone else have these?
My nightmares have been that my catering hall completly forgets about me..I get there that day and they are like ' what are you doing here?'
I guess we all have them
It's called 'anxiety'
I also think that coming on here RIGHT before I go to bed is a mistake for me. It makes me think to much and then I have nightmares and worries
If you guys see me here after 11pm.. kick me off

Re: Totally horrifying dream...anyone else have these?
I've had nightmares, but mostly about the dresses, including mine, being all wrong. Thank G$d none of anyone dying - you poor thing! That would freak me out too, but knowing me, I would do my best not to think of it as prophetic. If you have your heart set on Aruba, I think you should still go.
Here's hoping nothing but happy dreams for you from now on!!!

Oooh that is a bad one. I never had any that bad.I had a really horrible but very funny one about the reception and everything going wrong. I woke up laughing. My most recent was my inlaws and all their friends booked the room right next door to me in Hawaii for my honeymoon. They kept coming in my room and wanted to do nothing but hang around our room! Now that was scary enough for me!!!

Re: Totally horrifying dream...anyone else have these?
Oh, Mistyeyed, I feel so bad for you, but chin up, It was just a dream, I just hate it when they seem so real.Good thing is dreams NEVER mean what you think they do, usually just the opposite.
It's probably your nerves and stress getting to you.
Don't worry about it.
For instance, B4 I got my E-ring, I had several dreams on how he proposed and the ring was HORRID !!!!!
So yours was much more disturbing, but my point is, it doesn't mean a thing OR reflect Reality.
Hope you feel better

Re: Totally horrifying dream...anyone else have these?
I always heard to dream of someone's death meant incredibly good luck for them!! So maybe that's a really good sign for you!
I have had the other bad dreams too - the dress nightmares, it's 3:30 and my hair is not even done and we were supposed to have been married at 11 am! The other day I dreamt I had a HUGE fight with FI and when I woke up he put his arms around me and I said to him 'Oh sure - NOW you're being nice?! NO WAY - not till you say you're sorry!' He was totally clueless!! Then I realized it was a dream lol!

Re: Totally horrifying dream...anyone else have these?
Thanks so much Ladies. I know it's stress. And the reasons behind the dream are obvious. So much is going into this wedding, and my desire to just be married to him already outweighs it all...I'm just afraid of everything blowing up in my face! And I really don't know where the Aruba thing came from, I don't even want to go there! LOL.I love this site, you post and actually get coherent answers from sensible people! I don't think I've spoken to a sensible person since I got engaged!
P.S. Bridetobe, your 'dream' about people being on your honeymoon next door to you came true for my brother and his wife, her parents SHOWED UP IN VEGAS ON THEIR HONEYMOON.

Re: Totally horrifying dream...anyone else have these?
I started having wedding nightmares about a month ago. It lasted for a week. I thought it was WAY too early to be having nightmares since I still had 9 months to go. I used to do wedding stuff (including being on this site) right before going to sleep, so it was fresh on my mind. So I just stopped that. I try not to think about the wedding before bed, and it worked. No more nightmares!

I have nightmares too, mostly about stupid things like the church not being there or something happening to my dress. Just shows you how much we have on our minds. We even dream about it!

Re: Totally horrifying dream...anyone else have these?
I have had the worst dreams about something happening to my FI, I think it is mostly becaue he is my life, I lost both parents at such a young age and I am deathly afraid of 'death' to loved ones. I guess it is a fear that unfortunately is instilled in me.Welcome New Vendors
