I quit smoking 5 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made!! It was extremely difficult at the beginning (I quit cold turkey, no patches, gum- nothing) but I kept telling myself that it was for my own good. It's still a struggle every once in a while when I get in a mood but I know if I give in then I'll just have to go through all of that over again - which is soooo not worth it.
Believe in yourself!!! You can do it Hall Twin!!!!

one of my friends did that lazer quit smoking thing. Forgot what its called. She also pointed out that she stopped and looked at all of the time she 'needed' a cig. For example: doing the laundry, literally right after BRUSHING HER TEETH, doing her hair, as soon as she got in the car. So she started fabrezing those areas and tried to pick up a new routine in those daily spots. She also removed all the ashtrays in those areas

June 29th is my 3 yr mark, I started smoking when I was 14 and I developed ashtma from it. I smoke menthol cigarettes and nothing else.
If I never got asthma from it I don't know if I ever would have quit but 3 yrs later I'm still using my inhaler and it's a breeze when I get a cold now, I don't rush myself to the hospital for a nebulizer.
I put the patch on and just convinced myself if I smoked 1 more cigarette I was going to die. I took it one day at a time but you can DEFINITELY do it.
Ohhh and my fiancee quit 10 yrs ago from hypnosis. He said it was the best $40 bucks he ever spent.

Re: Totally need your support
Hang in there. I quit 5 months ago. I still get cravings to this day...but they only last a couple seconds and then it passes.
The first 2 weeks were ROUGH, but if you just stick with it, eventually you get to a point where you dont think about it anymore. I know it seems like it will never happen, but it does!
FM me if you need to vent to someone that understands!
I went to Laser Ray...honestly, I'm not sure if it was his procedure that made me quit or the fact that I paid 300 bucks to have it done. The procedure doesnt make the cravings go away but it supposed to lessen the withdrawl systems. I had never tried to quit before so I dont know what the withdrawls would have felt like without the procedure...but hey, FH and I have been smoke free for 5 months so i guess its worth a shot if you dont mind spending 300 bucks =)
