TOTALLY NWR - I HATE CON ED

When is the #*#&%^#)@)# power coming back on????

We still have half the apt. BS going on - some of our lights and outlets - but no refrigerator and no A/C. Every store in the neighborhood was closed -we had to drive all over to find some place open - and what did we find? McDonalds..

All of our food was spoiled, we cant have a cold drink, and its friggin hot in here!! This &^%$ *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aww thanks!!
We are in Astoria! The power was STILL out this morning... I'm at work now, I don't even know if it will be back by the time we get home.
I think we'll have to eat dinner in the city- because even if the power does go back on- everplace still lost all their food. Its terrible. This has been going on since MONDAY!!

No, no time frame at all. They haven't even really said what is going on- why the power went out on the first place!
My mom told me this morning she saw on the news that the wires are melting in Astoria - and I'm like yeah - I can smell them
It doesn't seem to promising.

Ugh, I'm sorry. My friends live in Astoria too and they are in the same boat. I'm picking them up after work and taking them to NJ with me. Have anyone you can stay with?

Yeah... we could go out to LI and stay with my parents, but then its a pain to get to work. Tomorow's Friday, so we should be able to last one more day.
