my sister saw my dad in the dr's office today. this si the first time anyone's seen him since he walked on in feb. He blatantly walked into our family Dr office with her, and gave my sister this big smile, and then my sis saw him go to tap his gf I guess to introduce or point our my sister but my sis gave dismissive gesture and walked away. I knew he was going to our fam doctor with her which to me is so utterly disgusting. Who the hell does that? I don't know, it's just upsetting that she saw him. I hope I don't ever have to see him.

I'm so sorry Jen I'm sure this is the last thing you and your family need (bumping into him). I'm glad your sister walked away...I would have done the same thing.

Re: totally nwr my dad
It's so wonderful that you and your sisters stand you ground with dad and show so much support and respect for your mom. Kudos Jenn.
that's really is a shame. fh's father cheated on his mom for years with- and get this- a woman that sang with him in the CHURCH CHOIR!!!! you can see how religious they really were!
anyway, she has never been allowed near any of FBIL's kids, and she CERTAINLY is NOT welcome at my wedding. funny thing is FH's dad eventually regretted his mistake, begging to come back, but FMIL told him to take a hike basically. (GO FMIL) He know is living ALONE in Guatemala (where he is from) People can be so dumb.

And I thought only my father was up for 'Father of the year' (sarcastic... )
My dad left my stepmom for another woman 3 years after they began their affair (without us knowing, obviously). I only found out because when we had to celebrate christmas with him at his new house with her, they had an ornament which was dated for their first christmas together in 98! Hello.. you only moved out in 01?! yeah.. THEN... they got married, but neglected to tell us.. so instead I had to hear about it from a complete stranger. And he still doesn't understand why my sisters and I get upset sometimes... geez... that Y chromosome really must throw some men for a loop!
Good for your sister...standing your ground is tough sometimes, but worth it.

thats just a suc ky situation all-around. i've never met the man, but your dad sounds like a jerk and someone needs to put him inn his place. why are men such asshats sometimes?? not all of them, i know. but the men like him realy ruin it for the really good ones, you know
