i havent worn my Ering since sat. cuz i wear my new one for work all week.. so i just put it on and it FELL OFF... i need to get it resized.. im soooo sad looks like i will have to get it done ASAP!

am i bad that i wish my rock was bigger??? i undestand why its not.. fh never worked a day in his life untill this summer so he worked 60 hours a week and bought my ring at the end of the summer.. i do love it.. but who wouldnt want a HUGE rock...
i just want it to be fixed so that i cant wear it!

no! b/c i feel the same way. the fh knows it too b/c he didn't 'shop' he went saw it and bought it. but now he said after he thought about it, he wants to take my ring and add 2 more prong settings and diamonds .. he said he'd get one bigger and then another one to match the middle stone in it now, but i said that's too much money...
either way, i can't win...
tell them to fix it asap... ring sizing shouldnt take long.. they did mine in 2 days

some places will do it right then and there - depends on what kind of setting you have but you are not supposed to leave your ring with anyone - just what someone told me
in regards to the size - yes its nice to have a pretty ring, but in the end - i dont think it really matters - there are people with huge rocks that are unhappy in miserable marriages, and others that didnt even have a ring and have amazing relationships - everything in perspective

oh i totally agree.. i was syaing i wold love to have it added to but i would be upset cuz i love my ring!!...so instead of upgrading my e ring.. FH siad that i could have a LARGE eternity band when he makes sargent.. (hopefully by our 5th annaversary) that makes me even happeir cuz i love my ring!

I have a new ring &, we were just engaged a year, It's sad from time to time that's it not the FH gave me when he asked me to share our lifes, but I've realized that the ring is just a symbol of the love, respect, devoation, and honor we share for each other and hey that's all that really matters right, not the materialized item to represent it.

My orignal was just about 2cts... my ring now is centerstone: 1.47 & the setting is only.56, and my wedding band is.81 which brings the set to a tcw of 2.79... altho it's not a flashy like it might be if that was the weight of the cs, & not the tcw, but I love it and it's simple, classic and elegant...

my cs is .80 and the side stones take it to 1.25 not sure.. but i know its a little more then 1 ct tw... but ur right its not the size that counts its the meaning behind it!

& I love yours Pear is my fav shape , when we first starting looking almost 2yrs ago... I had my heart set on this ring, I think it was just about 1ct, I love this ring and was seriouslly wanting it when we started looking again for rings this summer before I inherited my grandmas
