Totally You in Bellmore

I'm wondering if I should take my mom there. We went to RK Bridal and she found 2 dresses she really liked by montage and cameron blake. she wasn't too happy about the prices or the prices of alterations. But even if she buys her dress in LI, it may be more practical for her to get the alterations done elsewhere since she doesn't drive.. (I can drive her but this means I have to be there for all her fittings)...

Here are the dresss she liked:

The first one was $560 and the second was $410.

I called Totally You and they can't give me prices over the phone.. if we go there and find these dresses for the same prices as RK Bridal, it will be a waste of a trip. Does anyone know how much they go for at Totally You (or even any other place in LI). I wish we knew b/c if the difference is $25, we won't even bother. TIA!

I don't know, but I can tell you my mom bought her dress there and they were great with her. We're actually going to pick up her gown this weekend.

I know this isn't really the same, but I found my prom dress there and i went all over LI (bc my mom's a crazy shopper and dragged me everywhere) and totally you had the best price. It beat some store's prices by about 25%. Hopefully the same will be true for your mom's dress!!!!

My mom got her dress there and its Montage by Mon Cheri. We found their prices to be amazing. I **think** my mom spent high $300's or low $400's for hers. Imo its worth the trip.

no problem. we are probably going to go the weekend after this one.. it seems like its worth a shot.
