I noticed on the recent 'wedding party' thread that we all have the same number of people - one MOH, one Best Man, one BM, one GM.
My mother is very concerned that my MOH won't stand out from the other bridesmaid...she wants it to be absolutely clear who the MOH is. (I'm not concerned about it, but she says it keeps her up at night!)
Have you thought about this at all? How are you making your MOH different? All ideas and suggestions much appreciated!

I don't have the same number in my bridal party but my MOH has been a pain about being different ever since this thing started. So I am gettin her a bigger bouquet. Also has a differnt dress same color. I don't know if you like that idea, but the bigger bouquet is cute.

The two girls are going to be wearing different dresses ( I think ) but in the same color. My moh is going to have a larger Bo-k, maybe different jerwerly. It dosnt make a difference to me. My Moh is my sister and if the BM is his sister so anyone that knows us is going to know that my sis is the MOH and not his. That would be a little weird.
eta: AT my sisters wedding I was the MOH and I had the 'bigger bo-k' we didnt honestly know which one it was until everyone picked out their flowers to go home and then we realized mine had two different colored ribbons. If you are going to make them bigger make them signifintly (SP?) larger.
I need to know how you guys are doing limo's.?? how many?? and what are you doing with the parents?? My thought was 2 one from his house with the guys and his parents drop them off at the church then come back and get the girls and one for me and my Parents to the church. But how about from the church to the hall?? We can go with the bridal party in one, but I really don't want to put my parents and his parents in the same limo. The cost of the limo's isnt a huge thing since his father is a limo driver and is going to call in a few of his friends a favor.

Duh.....bigger bo-k!! I didn't even think of that, but it's a great solution. THANK!! She might be in a different dress, too, but we haven't gotten quite that far in the planning yet.
As for limos...I haven't even thought about it. I agree with your idea, Jo Ann, but I'm stumped about the church to the hall. I don't really want my parents and his parents to share a limo - but I don't see another solution, other than give each set of parents their own limo and tell them they can invite other people with them if they want.

We haven't picked dresses yet, but my mother wants them to wear te smae.
I don't think we are goign to distinguich too much- as I see it, the best man & groomsman will be the same., so so should the girls. ALso, sicen its only 2 , making the one stnad out mor ethant theo ther almsot sems rude. I origanlly wanted to have them as maid & matron of honor & co- best men, but again, I listened to mom.
I was thinking maybe different color bouquets for them, If I do make them different. and maybe co-ordinating boutenieres for the guys.
I was also in a wedding where the MOHs ( there were 2) had bligger bouquets, and youcouldn't really tell- soemone picked up teh wrong one for one of the pictures and you can kind of see only b/c there are tow MOH's.
Did you pick dresses yet?
For limos, I have no idea. My mom also wants my brother to coem int eh limo with us to the church, but someone's gotta drive the car for later. so who knows. Maybe we'll all ride bikes.
ETA: ok I just saw , you haven't done dreses yet. I also like the idea of the same dress, different shades of the same color ( works well with blues, browns, & purples) I think I'd do that if I had had multiple BMs, but I'm not sure about with just 2.
my friend had her MOH wear a tiara-type headpecie, b/c she wanted to be different.

YES!! I am having the same predicament!!!!
I haven't picked dresses yet...I want black and non-satin, which you'd think would be easy...
Plus, it can't be too restrictive because they've got to pedal the bikes!
