towns in Nassau?

towns in Nassau?

I know there are plenty of good towns in Nassau, however after doing some research we are interested in Oster Bay, East Meadow and Oceanside. Does anyone have any inside input on the above mentioned towns? We are not sure where we want to be. At first we were looking in Suffolk but I think I want to be closer to my family, They live in NYC.

Oyster Bay is on the North Shore- very nice and $$. East Meadow is ok, its the town I teach in... Oceanside I live near, Im in Long Beach, thats also nice.. It all depends on what youre looking for as far as a town and the schools.

I grew up in oceanside, and went through all my schooling within that district. It is a great town, with an awesome school district. If we werent moving to florida i wouldnt even consider another area to live or raise my family.
