i am debating if we should write 'letters' expressing our love to one another to be read for the ceremony but i think i will b way too nervous and not want to speak on my own like that. yet i feel guilt! is it wrong to just stick with the traditional vows

Re: traditional vows
I feel the same way! It would be nice to write our own vows but I don't think I will be able to read! I am going to do a variation of the traditional vows.

Re: traditional vows
I was too busy crying. I am lucky I was able to say 'I Do'. If I had to read a whole letter, I never would have made it. Just something to think about.

Re: traditional vows
My fh and I really want to be able to express ourselves at the ceremony , but I am afraid I will cry and he is afraid he will be too nervous. The solution that we came up with is writing our feeling to each other and printing them in the first two pages of our ceromony booklet to be given to our guests. This way our friends and family can be witness to our intimate feelings without the tears and stumbling. We plan on adding funny and touching memories.
