Train

Ok - went for my first fitting last night - I was going to have the train (its not a long train) cut off my dress since this is my second wedding. My seamstress said it looked so lovely she hated to cut it.. and i really like it too... can I keep it??????

I don't think there are any rules! It's your wedding - do what you want! If you want the train, keep the train!!

I totally agree. Never heard of second wedding = no train. I think it would be great!

Just because it's your second wedding doesn't mean that you can't have a train, besides it's your wedding it you love it keep it!

Absolutely keep the train!! This is my 1st wedding but FH's 2nd, I don't want him doing anything differently just bc he's done this before.

This is my second wedding and I am wearing a ball gown with pick ups and three bustles in the back it is your day and keep it that way

Keep it, just because it's your second time, makes it NO LESS important, and you can do whatever you want. Just erase second time thinking in your mind, and plan your wedding, no if and or but's!!

If you really like it, keep it. I haven't read anywhere in the bride handbook that trains are for first weddings only.

Oh goodness, KEEP IT!

Back when I worked at David's Bridal I had one customer who was on her FOURTH wedding (in her late 40s at least) and was this close to buying a white dress with these little pink beads.
