Transit Question?

Transit Question?

I am starting a new job soon. Does anyone know a quick way to get from Penn Station to Grand Central? I heard you can take the 1 or 9 and then have to transfer to the Shuttle. Is there another way?

That is the only way I know. Take the 1 or 9 to 42nd Street and then take the shuttle one stop.

or walk.
or walk to 42nd & jsut take the shuttle across.
or walk across & take the 6 from 33rd, one stop to 42nd. I take the shuttle everyday. I hate it.
