I just found out from my bm that a group of friends invited to the wedding want to rent a limo to travel to and from the catering hall. This way they can have fun drinking and not worry. While it sounds like a great idea so this way no one will get hurt. How would it look for our guest to show up in the limo, I feel like we're back to the prom. It's a wedding!
I was thinking of maybe directing them to rent a bus instead, does anyone have any recommendations or quotes please. Any help is much appreciated!! TIA!!!!!!

Re: Transportation Dilemma
Let them rent a limo if they want to. It is their business. Honestly, no one will notice who gets out of what vehicle at the RH. Guests drop their car at the valet and go inside.
At least they have the foresight to not do something stupid like drink and drive.

Re: Transportation Dilemma
Try Somerset Limo in Massapequa. I am using a 15 passenger shuttle can. Great Price too.

Re: Transportation Dilemma
This weekend I heard 3 different groups of people talk about renting limos/buses to get to my wedding. I think at this point - they can do whatever they want. As long as I don't have to organize it!!!

Re: Transportation Dilemma
It doesn't matter how they arrive or leave. What matters is that they go and come safely. Be glad you don't have to worry about them drinking and driving.

would you mind fm'ing me their prices and contact info? I need a shuttle!
Also, I wouldn't worry if your guests rent a limo -- be happy they aren't expecting you to pay for it!

Re: Transportation Dilemma
and you won't see them arrive... better safe than sorry. and yay for not having to organize one more thing!
besides, maybe they'll be more apt to dress nicely and give you a great gift as this is such a big night on the town!

Don't worry about your guests renting a limo: Everyone is gonna be looking at YOU not them. Look at it this way, at least they're responsible enough not drink & drive.

Re: Transportation Dilemma
If they want to rent and pay for a limo then let them, rather that then driving home after drinking or better yet leaving early b/c they cant drink

Re: Transportation Dilemma
i agree- let them spend the money if they want it! noone will notice who is getting out of what car. and look at it this way- a limo is a lot classier and nicer looking than a party bus!!

Re: Transportation Dilemma
don't even put another thought into it. If they want a limo, let them get it. But don't you worry about it. Let them reasearch as to where they should get it from.
