some girls buy a different dress to do this. I heard of girls doing this and bought an inexpensive gown they found online, or went to davids bridal and bought an inexpensive dress, when they do the big sales the $99 ones. I know not all cost that little so just had to point that out.

Someone my coworker knows, I think her BF's sister, did that, the pictures were awesome, but after spending all this money on a dress, there is NO WAY I could do that!!! :) but thats jmo

I've never seen that before. If I could buy a second dress I would do that. The pictures came out so cool. I love my dress way too much to do that.

i dont get why you would want to trash any dress ... even if you had money to buy two ... it looks like fun but i would do that in a $20 dressi bought from forever 21 haha

I think the pictures look amazing but I could never do that! Even if it was a $99 special from David's bridal, I am waaay too cheap to buy a dress just to ruin it!

I will actually love to do it, I dont plan to save my dress (I hate to store thing that I will never going to used) so I think it will be use in a good way.

I love that! I know it seems silly to 'trash' your expensive wedding dress, but I will never wear it again, I totally hope I have enough money to do that after the wedding is over! Thanks for sharing!

I would consider doing this but first I would buy a second cheap dress -- a simple white one from jcrew, white house black market, I think even Lord & Taylor and Nordstoms sell pretty inexpensive and simple white dresses. It looks like fun!
