Do travel agents charge a fee for booking your honeymoon?
I always thought they didn't, but I read something somewhere (I think about one place offering a free honeymoon consultation) that made me feel like there is a charge.
Can anyone help?

Re: Travel Agent Fees?
My travel agent didn't charge us a fee. I wouldn't use one of they did - what's the point then?

Re: Travel Agent Fees?
The really top travel agents do especially for more complicated trips. I used the best TA EVER (Tricia Townsend at Protravel). She charged us $250 extra. She was worth every penny.

I really don't like the idea of paying for one...we are thinking of going to Tahiti which is expensive enough as it is!!!

They shouldn't, unless like am470 stated above, they help you with a really complicated trip (Safari, Australia visiting different locations, Egypt, etc.)

Re: Travel Agent Fees?
I know one travel agent who doesn't charge fees-MY MOM!! By biases aside, she's the best and will do tons of research for you- her company's name is LJ's Getaways and her phone number is 631-874-3105.
