How long did it take your travel agent to provide a suggested itinerary and quote?
I am going on 10 days and havent heard anything -- other than an email response last week saying that a snow storm is causing delays.
I'm assuming most work is done on a computer these days, so dont understand how a snow storm can hold something up for that long. Maybe I am wrong. In all fairness, my trip is a bit complex, so it would take more than a day...but 10 seems excessive.

That seems really strange. We sat down with our travel agent for about an hour and a half and got quotes for a number of options - from Greece to the Caribbean.

At most a quote took us 3-4 days and that's only bc a weekend was in between. 10 days seems very long.

honestly Im a travel agent and last week was a complete nightmare with the delays.. He prob meant he was so busy dealing with drama and flight cancellations that he didnt have anytime to send a quote.. that being said.. if u saw him 10 days before that you probably should have had something about 5 days after the latest!! If it was me I would have emailed you and said I am workin on your travel and will let u know as soon as I have something for you . I usually say that Im workinon the discounts and sometimes it does take a long time to hear back from contacts .. HTH :)
