Has anyones TA done any upgrades or special things for you because its your HM? Mine did nothing for us. The only reason why I went to a TA is because maybe they can do something that I couldnt do myself online. I should have just booked myself.
I know ours told us that she informed the hotel that we will be on our honeymoon and that we get complimentary champagne and discounts on couples massages etc.
Mine booked us in the honeymoon category of every hotel we're staying at. Nothing major at all, I think we just get champagne in the room or something, but I know she'll have some surprises for us when we get there since she's done it for us every other time we've gone on vacation and this is the honeymoon.
My travel agent found us awesome deals for Hawaii. I don't think it made a difference that we were on our honeymoon. But we are gonna play the honeymoon card while we're there.
ITA with you, I felt that I could have done the same thing she did, I even saved us money by looking at the hotels she picked and showed her that there were romance packages available for cheaper then what she picked and had so much included
our's actually helped a lot with the planning / researching. we're going to 5 different places in australia, so she booked all the intercontinental flights, airport transfers, excursions, etcetera. we would have never been able to do it ourselves!
