OK - I know there are other websites similar to priceline.com where you name the stars **** and price you want to pay, and you can possibly win the bid, but I also thought there was one that allows you to see the hotel they recommend first, and you can choose to go with it or not.
Anyone have any suggestions?

These are the ones that we have booked hotels with in the past and had great luck... www.expedia.com www.orbitz.com www.travelocity.com www.hotels.com We have used all of them and have never had any problems. We have also used hotwire, although you cant pick the hotel ..you can pick the TYPE of hotel ( 3 star, 4 star) and you can pick the location. We were able to stay for 55 bucks in downtown philadeplphia at a Wyndham. It was GREAT!
