I have heard a lot about Travel Tom. I thought FH and I could plan our honeymoon without a travel agent to save $$$, but now I am having second thoughts. Can anyone tell me about this travel agent and give me an idea of the cost? TIA!

i used dawn dorr from cruise one... she doesnt just do cruises... she is a vendor here and she is very cool!!!!
i wasnt found of travel tom...ehh

You can try him and see what he has to offer. He is a great guy and all, but I found out his prices are not the best ( I found better on expedia and tripadvisor---with more things that he has to offer).
He also read a posting I placed here about him (not bad or good but about my experience with him) and he started talking about me to other LI future brides here. I don't think that was professional of him. A couple of them actually contacted me and let me know about it. I was very dissapointed!!!
I am not saying he is a bad guy....but I definetely recommend you shop around. Give him a call and see what he can do for you. Remember the fact that you will not meet him in person because he lives in DC. I myself did not really like that and felt uneasy about that (there are plenty of good travel agents here).
Make sure you check expedia and trip advisor. Make sure you do plenty of research before you contact him in that way you know what you are talkig about, because he is not the best at recommending places.
