Traveling makeup artists

Is it pretty much standard that a traveling makeup artist (someone who will come to the house) needs a 3 person guarantee? I'm getting a little stuck because only myself and my sister need makeup done for the wedding, and I'm starting to get discouraged.

I'd like to know this as well since it may be just me and my mom that need make up done.

I'm not sure if my makeup artist has a 3 person guarantee. You can contact her. She travels to you for your makeup trails also. FM me if you want her info

It may be that they need the price of 3 people, so if you're willing to spend more you might be able to pay the same amount for just you two. In all my research, yes they've needed at least 3-4 people to come to your house.

What are you doing for hair? Maybe find 1 person that does both services.

My regular stylist, who is also a good friend of my sister's, does amazing bridal hair and we booked her salon for the morning (me and 3 girls). I couldn't imagine booking with anyone else except her.

I could use the makeup services at the salon, but it was pricey compared to other artists, but I'm starting to think that might be my best option.

Thanks, everyone.

I think you should get your make up done at the salon, and it will save you time. Everyone also recommends getting your make up done before your hair.

I know a lot of makeup artists have a minimum guarantee... but I'm a makeup artist and I don't have one. So there are some of us out there! Keep looking :)
