Hubby and I really need to get away before the baby arrives. I spoke to my MD and she said it was safe for me to fly, but everyone thinks I'm nuts. We plan to go Florida (I NEED some sunshine!!) for a couple of days and I will be 32 weeks pregnant. Are we nuts?

I'm heading to Aruba tomorrow but I'm only 17 wks...my dr advised me not to fly after 26 wks which I guess is conservative but I don't want to take any chances
if you do go, maybe just go back to your dr right before you leave to make sure all is well

I would check with your dr and some airlinge like Delta may not let you fly

I flew when I was 27 weeks prego and I was fine. If your doctor says it's ok and you feel well then I don't think it would be a problem. You may want to check with the airline though as well, I've heard that some won't let you fly after a certain point in your pregnancy.
If you do go, I would suggest you get together a sheet listing your doctors info and any info about your pregnancy that you might need to know about just in case...then enjoy and relax.
P.S. Where are you heading to in FL? I'm in Ft. Lauderdale.

I'm flying out in the morning for a flight to the Bahamas. It's a direct flight and only about 3 hours, so I'm not worried. I'm 26 weeks now, will be 27 when I fly back!
Go for it if your doctor gives you the okay and you feel comfortable doing so.

Everyone pregnant woman needs one LAST vacation--- Go ahead and enjoy!!!
We plan on traveling when I am 21 weeks and dr said Go ahead and have fun!!!!!
