Re: Travelocity...
I have to say that sometimes you can get better deals through online agents.. I usually only book airfare and hotels through orbitz and travelocity not really 'vacations' I booked my honeymoon through an amex agent.. and believe me I am super thrifty.. so I searched high and low for a deal.

I have booked through them also. ALthough what I also did a few times was...get the best price you can find on the internet adn remember your source. Then call a local travel agent and tell her the priceyougot and see if she can beat it. She was able to beat the price for a cruise once by 200$ do to a promo she had. So definatly try both!!! Good luck

Re: Travelocity...
Usually they charge a fee where if you go to any of the airlines websites they have vacation pkgs - w/o the fee.
I use Continental because of my flyer miles, but American & Southwest all have vaca pkgs just as good and sometimes better than travelocity/orbitz/etc.
