I just saw it on the news that they were in a plane crash last night..they are in critical condition and 4 others are dead..they havent released the names of the deceased yet...

Travis Barker's assistant wanted to get home in time for his pregnant wife to give birth.
We've now learned why Barker and his friends decided to get on that doomed Learjet in South Carolina late last night, and the explanation can only be described as a horribly cruel twist of fate.
It all started some time yesterday, when Barker's assistant, Chris Baker, told the guys that his wife was going into labor. Barker told him that he would do everything in his power to get Baker back to the hospital in time.
The quickest way back to Van Nuys was that Learjet. We're told Barker usually won't fly on private jets, but made an exception for what was supposed to be one of the happiest moments of Baker's life.
The plane crashed shortly after midnight, killing four people -- including Chris Baker. Baker's wife went into labor early this morning. Baker has another young child as well.
OMG the story just gets worse, i feel so horrible i cant even imagine how that guy chris bakers wife is feeling right now.

I just read the story about Travis's assistant getting back to his wife in labor was false. She is pregnant but she wasnt in labor. That isnt the reason they flew that night. Its so terrible. A friend said DJ AM is badly burnt over 50 percent of his body including some of his face. Travis has most of the damage below the waist. Theyre both so talented and I really hope they make a full recovery. Especially Travis who needs his whole body to play the drums. He is an AMAZING drummer and it would be terrible if he couldnt play again. This made me so sad.

I KNOW! Its so stupid how they print something like that without knowing the truth just to make the story sound even worse than it already is! ugh TMZ

this whole thing is just so sad, i absolutely loveeeee travis barker he is amazing and his kids are so precious, i hope him and dj am make it out ok

JUST saw the update on E. They said that both will make it. DJ am suffered burns on his hands and face. Travis had severe burns on his torso. Doctors said they should be very glad they are alive. They also said that they think something was wrong with one of the tires and that is what caused the accident.
