Tree lights..how do you string them??

Can you believe the day before christmas eve I am here decorating my tree!

I was wondering how you ladies put your lights on the tree..we always get a real one and I think they are much harder to put lights on! I know some people who walk around the tree and string them that way but I like to go from left to right all the way through the front and then through the back..

How do you do it?? Can you tell im PROCRASTINATING?!?!

We walk around it too. First we do a string of white lights and tuck it in close to the trunk, then we go around again with colored lights (my DH makes me... if I had it my way there would just be white lights) to fill in the branches.

I'm fanatic about lights. We have a fake tree that you put the branches on one row at a time. After each row is up, I string the lights around each individual branch starting on the inside and working my way out and then back again.
It takes me forever! But I love trees with a lot of lights.
