Can anyone give me directions from Queens? I havent been there in about 10 years!
What are their hours on the weekend? Do you think they are open this weekend?

I have no idea how to get there. I can try and find out for you though.
Call 411 and ask for Gold Star Jewelers. That is where FSIL bought her wedding band. They answer quick. Tell them you wanna go see them :). Ask them the hours and how to get there.

They are on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown. The best way from Queens I guess would be to take the Southern State to Wantagh Pwky North and get off @ ROUTE 24 heading EAST. Route 24 is Hempstead Trpke. Once you're on 24 you're not that far from tri county-it'll be on the opposite side of the road (your left) you can't miss it! From the wantagh parkway I would guess it's about 1/4 of mile down the turnpike. They are open Thursday-Sunday. just beware there is a huge carnival/fair thing going on in that back lot this weekend! massive crowds!

It's 3041 Hempstead Turnpike, Levitown. They are opened Th & Fr noon to 9 & Sat 7 Sun 10-6. They will be opened this weekend. They aren't usually opened on Monays, but they may be this Monday, since it is a Holiday. I'm not sure.
Where in Queens are you? DO you knwo how to get to Hemstead Turnpike? Youc an just takethat east to Levittown, but there are a lot of lights & a lot of weekend trafic, so be prepared.

Thank-you very much for your help ladies!!! I think I know how to get there now. I just needed a refresher!
And Ive already prepared myself for the crowds and traffic - I hate traveling to LI on the weekends!

Well if it all gets too much for you, come to my house. You will pass it on the way! Well kind of... I live 15 minutes west of Tri County.
I think if you can get to the Wantagh Pkwy, it is near there. But I am not sure b/c I never take the parkway there.
