Trial Tipping

I'm having my first hair and makeup trials in just over a week! I'm booked with Glam Me Up Down The Aisle and Fire Monkey Hair Design so far. What's the convention for tipping at hair and makeup trials? What percentage of the cost have you ladies been tipping, or do you just wait and give an even bigger tip on the day of the wedding?

I've been tipping 20%. I usually tip around that much for hair or spa services

I tip around 20% as well. I had my trial with Gina on Sunday, you will not be disappointed! She's so sweet and does exactly what you ask her to!

I always tip at least 20%. I worked in the service industry, so I usually give more. For example, Dusti (Fire Money) charged me $45 for the trial, I gave her $60 total. I also booked with her, she's great!
