So I was in Macys in Manhasset last night and I decided to stroll into the bridal salon on a whim. I had no intentions of trying anything on. (this was the first time). Well anyway I ended up trying on two dresses...ughh, I was soooo gross, I was so embarassed, like I just came from work and probally stunk, lol and jsut felt dirty. So, like I guess I didnt really think that the woman stays in there with you so I was more embarassed. I was like wearing a red bra with lace. Anyway whatever whatever, I felt so fat and white and ugly when i tried on the dresses (kinda knew this would happen ) I am on WW and am down a few pounds but it would just be nice to try on dresses when I was down even more and felt better). Well atleast Im going to fix two of those problems. Im going tanning and going to do my hair and makeup when I go to try on for the first real time on June 13th (at Rk bridal). The dresses were nice but I think how I looked distracted me and it wasnt a OMG experience, ya know. o well

that sux... well I did the same thing by da way, just went over after work and tried dresses. for me that was an OMG experience. I'm sure the sales lady wasn't judging u LOL she sees gazillion and one women trying dresses on, I'm sure at this point for her its all the same. the 1st time I went I dint have a bikini wax, now that was embarrassing! next time u go u will feel great, trust me

So Funny!!(had to laugh about it afterwards) I did the same thing!! Went to RK bridal after work. I hated the way everything looked on me. So embarrassed in the fitting room. My sis was with me but I dont really care if she sees me. The consultant and my sis were ooing and ahhing over the dresses and all i could think is i am soooo gross!! Next time I will wear make up and be semi tan!

thanks girls for the vote of confidence! I thought to myself something terrible while driving to work...imagine I did have my makeup done and was tan and feeling all pretty when i went in and then still felt like crppp, that would be worse, lol! So, I pray that does NOT happen!

I felt the same way when I went the first time. My mom and I were shopping, and she decides we should go to David's Bridal. I had no make-up on, and I thought I looked gross in every dress! Bring SPANX when you really go, I did that and felt sooo much better! Also, a tan and make-up always helps :)

I was the same way when I went to Macy's Bridal in Manhattan. I was so unprepared. I have an appointment with Bridal Reflections on Saturday and I plan to have a better bra and definitely better underwear.
Yeah that happened to me once too, don't worry youll have a better time...

sorry u had a bad exp. no1 went in with me when i tried on dresses there. i even went out and bought normal underwear the night b4 cuz liw girls said that the sales ppl go in the rooms with u. lol but BELIEVE ME those ladies have seen it ALL, im sure ur red lace bra was sexxyy lol
dont worry so much about tan, but deffffff look fly as far as hair and face go. i cant look like sheit when i go reg clothes shopping, so imagine with dresses! u def wanna feel beautiful b4 u put on that dress, it helps soo much. when u feel beautiful, u have better posture. which makes u look supa flyy when trying on wedding dresses.

i went to that same macys and had a similiar experience. i felt bad for the lady. o well . loooking back on it now its kinda funny tho

OMG I thought I was the only one who had that experience! I went to check out dresses (with no intentions of trying them on) and of course the sales lady suckered me in to trying on two different dresses. I also had no make up on and my hair was horrible!
Don't worry -- I think everyone goes through this!! Next time will be sooooo much better!
