These aren't the best pics but my mom and I were playing dress up the other nite...I got all emotional lolz..it's crazy to see what they wore. The first pic is my moms dress the second is my grandmothers...my moms was really pretty but look at those SLEEVESSS lolz and my grandmothers weighed a TON!! It was all silk..thought you girls might get a laugh!!

your mothers is so gorgeous - i just one of the 08 brides had her grandmothers dress tailored and changed to fit her style - that would be an idea if you didnt already get a dress or you wanted to wear it on your wedding day - like make it strapless and ad or remove stuff

Beautiful! I love your mom's dress. If you haven't found a dress I would seriously consider it. You can alter the dress.

I just emotional seeing you in them . Your moms reminds me of my mom's, especially the detail. Just the way your grandma's dress flows at the end, I love it. Even though styles have changed, they've somewhat styaed the same. Did that make any sense?

You mother dress is gorgeous. I would totally have it altered your measurements and your style. Just beautiful.
I have my mother dress still it is not in the best condition but the lace detail is still beautiful. I am taking the dress and making into a veil afterwards I can us the veil for my children christening blanket. Definately consider doing something with that dress. Beautiful.

How awesome that you even fit in those dresses! My mom was like 1/2 my size (I'm 6 feet tall!) when she got married and soooo petite! I'd never fit in her dress! AMAZING!!!! And they look great on you!

That is great that you have both of those dresses... I like your moms, minus the sleeves. I think you could definately make it your own, if she let you, and you hadn't got your dress yet.
