These aren't the best pics but my mom and I were playing dress up the other nite...I got all emotional lolz..it's crazy to see what they wore. The first pic is my moms dress the second is my grandmothers...my moms was really pretty but look at those SLEEVESSS lolz and my grandmothers weighed a TON!! It was all silk..thought you girls might get a laugh!!
OMG though your moms is gorgeous!!!! You could have it altered! I saw one of the 08 brides did that to her great grams (i think) and it had the train and everything... lol so awesome!

Thanks girls!!!! I am soo glad she had saved both dresses and I got to try them on..and its so weird how certain things they liked in their dresses were the same things I was looking for when I was looking for my dress. We thought about altering it, but the thought didn't last too long lolz...there are a few holes in the back that she has no idea how they got there..there's beads missing and its VERY yellowed (although you can't see it too much in the pics)...we are going to save material from both dresses though and incorporate it somehow! Maybe for the Bo-k! Then we're going to save some to use for Christening outfits for my kids...

your mothers is so gorgeous - i just one of the 08 brides had her grandmothers dress tailored and changed to fit her style - that would be an idea if you didnt already get a dress or you wanted to wear it on your wedding day - like make it strapless and ad or remove stuff![]()

Thats cute! I actually really like your moms dress (with some alterations obv lol) would you consider using it?
I LOVE seeing old dresses! Your Mom's dress is stunning. I bet you can redo that and make it modern and fabulous. Not too much would have to be done. The sleeves would need to go but the bodice looks great and LOVE the skirt. The dress has potential!
