Trifold programs - How?

I wanna make our programs, I have no idea where to start. I like the trifold ones. Does anyone know how to make these? Do I need a specific computer program to do it on?

If you are taking them to a professional print shop you either must make the final into a pdf file or give them a collection of fonts, graphics and files either in Quark, Indesign and some places MAY take publisher. You can do layouts also in illustrator but if you have photographs with text its not completely recommended

Another tip: always leave a 1/8 margin from the edge for any text or pictures you do not want cut. A cutter has a error of margin which is about a 1/8 or .125 inch. If you want a picture or graphic to bleed off the edge (go off the edge so there is not white space) then make sure the item is 1/8 over the edge of the paper.

Standard printable sizes are of course 8.50 x 11, 8.5 x 14, 11 x 17. These are run anywhere and if you decide to do a trifold just divide it into three for your pannels.
