Re: TRIMSPA
I am taking it, althoough hubby is NOT happy. I LOVE it. I didnt get all jittery like some people I know. I have lost weight. Not sure how much. That is not importnat. I just want to feel better about myself. It is great because I dont have any snack cravings, even when Im PMSing. Pluse I dont eat as much for dinner and luch. Sometimes Im not even hungry, I just eat a little something so I dont skip a meal. you have to also exercise, doing it alone, you will see results, but even better if you exercise.

Re: TRIMSPA
Thanks Diane, I was wondering about it also. I tried other 'diet pills' and I felt like I was on speed.

Re: TRIMSPA
Didn't an athlete just die from taking something like that? He was like 23 years old or something. Of course that had Ephedrine in it, but you never know...
I used to take diet pills and since then, I NOW have an underactive thyroid, I swear it has to do with the pills... just giving you a heads up...
Some people swear by them!!!

Re: TRIMSPA
I agree OCTBRIDE....Ephedra (so they are saying) is what killed that football player.... I am all for loosing weight, but just be careful....
nothing works as good as exercise and eating right....(now if I could just follow my own advice)

Re: TRIMSPA
I try Trimspa, it curbs my appetite like nobody's business, no jittery feelings either BUT i wouldnt take 3 pills, just 1 or 2 per day.
FH has NO idea I lost 7 pounds so far (a couple of weeks) I will stop after 6 more pounds, and lose the rest naturally, I just wanted a JUMP start. I'm sure it's not too good for you. It has a small dosage of ephendrine........
i wonder how much Ephedra that guy took......

Re: TRIMSPA
I don't know, but they say he died of a heat stroke after his temp spiked to 107 degrees.....
Just make sure that if you do take them, you are careful not to push yourself to hard exercising right after....I think that is what they said was the deadly combo for him....
They also the risk of ephedra related deaths has to do with the fact that when people are having symptoms of heart problems the effect of the ephedra masks it, so you don't know anything is wrong.....
If you choose to take them, just be careful girls

Re: TRIMSPA
I am taking Stackers2. I used to get jittery the first week I went on them and not anymore.
This is my theory on people that have died using products containing ephedra. Some of these bottles say on them: take them before working out. HOWEVER, I would NEVER do that! Reason is b/c these pills cause your heart to pump faster. You many not feel it but it does. And if you take it and start working out or are doing strenous activities, your heart is pumping at 3x its normal rate. NOT GOOD! Hence, heart attacks and strokes. So I only take them before I eat. When I go to the gym in the morning I don't take it. I eat a light snack before I workout then when I get to work, I take one and have a big breakfast. I don't take one before dinner. By dinner time I barely eat.
I also gradually increased the dosage to the stated amount on the bottle. I took Xenadrine last year and was told to do this. I started taking 1 pill per day versus 3. The following week I upped it to 2. I won't take 3. Because I need my zzz's at night.

Re: TRIMSPA
I read your body should NOT consume any more than 90 MG of ephedra. If you take 3 pills, it is only about 60 mg.
You shouldnt take it for more than 12 weeks. If you dony abuse it, then I think it will be ok.

Re: TRIMSPA
Do the ones that are Ephedra free have the same effect...meaning loss of appetite?
I figured that the Ephedra is what really makes those diet pills.
