You know how people do baby moons, do any of you guys plan on taking a trip with FH before your wedding? Is there a term for that?

FH & I are going to Saratoga for my cousins wedding in October and have added a couple of days as a little pre-wedding trip.

We have two weddings to go to that will be vacations as well. One is Fh best friend who is getting married in Hawaii this July. The other is my cousin who lives in London next July. Definitely not wedding planning budget friendly but what are you gonna do?

I am going to Aruba in April!! We booked our flights a month before we got engaged! SO why not a pre-wedding get away. It's 2 days after our engagement party like a 'pre-honeymoon' loll

there will be no vacations unfortunately :( every dime is going towards the wedding and saving for a condo! :)

I wish! We were supposed to go to Coachella in CA and stay for a couple of weeks but thank God, I was able to cancel the trip and get a full refund. That $$$ went right into our wedding account. Guess well go to Coachella next year!

One of my best friends is getting married 1 week before us down in the Outer Banks, so as long as FH can get off we will spend a weekend away before our big day. At least thats the plan now -- I might be crazed and pulling my hair out by then!

We're going to Punta Cana in April we both need to detox from wedding stress! We usually do a spring and fall trip but I don't know if we can afford a fall trip this year, if we can we'll probably go to Vegas (it's one of our fave places!)

We're going to Newport, Rhode Island in April for a week. FH picks a week off at the end of each year for the following year and he picked mid April. His parents are letting us use their time share!! There isn't a ton to do there, but we want to go to every possible place we can and it looked relaxing enough :)
Before we got engaged we were booking a river cruise in China...but obviously that totally can't happen right now!

we are going to london, paris and rome in March for an early 30th bday present to me and then prob upstate in Sept like we usually do. totally the worst time to go to Europe since we realized timeshares aren't totally free and our honeymoon will cost $$$ but oh well.

FH and I decided instead of doing one bigger vacation we'll save our days at work for a few weekend trips. In august we'll be going to ohio for a few days for my friends daughters christening so maybe I can convince him to stay like thursday-monday and come home tuesday so we can go to like rock and roll hall of fame and stuff out near cleveland. especially since we'll be driving thursday and tuesday... i'd like to have those extra days.

Hawaii and Europe? YES PLEASE :)

we will be taking a cruise probably 1 year out to our date. and I'm sure 1 or 2 trips to AC :)

No my whole family is actually going on a cruise in aug & we just couldn't see spending the $$ when we could use it elsewhere. We are however going away with FFIL FSIL FBIL and nieces to ocean city MD for a week in july but FFIL pays for the main majority of the trip so that's why we can go. Besides a short weekend next week to AC for our v-day/FH's bday/5 year anniversary we have nothing planned. Ugh we love traveling too. We also had to give up our annual Tampa Yankees spring training/Tampa bay lightning long weekend trip. Ughhh thanks for reminding me

I used to live in Tampa! love the spring training but total bummer about your trip :( at least you'll get a mini vacay with FFIL!

Other then maybe a weekend trip to AC, I don't think FH and I will be able to work any trips into our budget. I'm sure we will need one from all the ciaos of planning a wedding. We'll see what happens.

FH and I would like to go to either Maine or Rhode Island before the wedding, but we might end up going to AC for a weekend instead.
