This is tricky... When did you book this trip? You have a better chance of getting this covered if you purchased the insurance close to when you booked the trip. Depending on what reason???
Was it put on your credit card? We put our honeymoon on our cc. Amex offered a trip insurance that we purchased - Global Travel Shield. Look into it as it may be available for other trips. The only issue is you are going to have to provide documentation of the injury (I would think) and the injury took place before you signed up for the insurance. Give them a call it cant hurt to try! Ugh - sorry lady!
