A friend of mine is using them in October, I think they are so cute! I do think they are better for shorter distances, if you church and hall are far apart it may be an uncomfortable ride.

Trolley cars? From where to where? I didn't know you could rent trolley cars? How far would they go?

Re: Trolley Cars
I'm getting one from Cruise Control Limos...I have no recollection how much I'm paying but can look tonight for you.
They go about 40 MPH I believe. We used to rent them in Boston for our formals and I don't remember it ever being a problem going a longer distance.
Edited to say we are using them for the girls from the hotel to the chirch and then for the entire bridal party from the church to the reception.

Re: Trolley Cars
I looked into a trolley car for my wedding, but they were all booked up. I was pretty disappointed since I really liked the idea. (I think since most places only have one trolley car, they book up pretty quickly).
I looked at a bunch of places, and the price quotes that I got ranged between $500 - $800 dollars for three hours (for a July wedding).
I will look through my files to see if I still have the names of the places.
