I wish I remembered whose review I read, but I saw someone who used a trolley instead of a limo and I thought it was adorable! My FH and I have a bridal party of 21, including us, so we won't all be able to fit in a limo together, and I'm not crazy about the idea of a party bus sitting in front of the church to take us to the reception. I think it's kind of un-elegant! Anyway, we always have the option of putting our bridal party in a limo and taking a car just the two of us, but we want to be with our bridal party!
I saw someone who used a trolley and I think it's unique and adorable! I was wondering if anyone else has done this, and if so, can I see pics? Can you recommend a company with a good trolley?
Thanks!!!

Yes! It was your review I read, but now I can't find it! I'm so bad at navigating these boards, lol. Why did you guys decide to do trolley? And do they let you bring food/drinks on board? We're getting married in October so I'm also concerned about heat ...

Ohhh hahaha. We decided to use because we loved it!! Also my husband lived in San Fran for a while, so it kinda tied that in. We brought Champaine.. but not food. I am sure they would let you. We didn't really have a long ride. LOVED THE TROLLEY!!!
We were married in August and they had great air conditioning was great. I am sure the heat is good too. You should go look at it!

Re: TROLLEY vs LIMO?!
Awesome, thanks so much! I absolutely love it, I think it's a great way to get everyone from church to reception together without looking like an eyesore in front of the church! :)
Do you have any pics of the trolley?

Re: TROLLEY vs LIMO?!
I used it last month for my wedding too- loved it! We used Cruise Control and the service was great. I am picking up my pictures on Saturday so I can send you some then. We got it for the same reason as you- we had 23 total in our bridal party and the only alternative was a bus - I like the way the trolley looked better.

Also, from what I've heard, Cruise Control is the only company with a white trolley. From what I remember when I was researching, I think there are other places that have red and green trolley- not sure if that is important to you.

Re: TROLLEY vs LIMO?!
I totally want to get a trolley too but transportation is one of the things we're budgeting last for and one of the things we hope to spend the least on.
How much is a trolley for picking up to drive to church, then waiting for about an 1 1/2 for mass/ceremony and pictures then off to reception hall?
What are other companies that do trolleys? Even if they are red and green??

Re: TROLLEY vs LIMO?!
North Fork Trolley is the one that does red and green trolleys.
We also used a stretch limo from Cruise Control but I think the trolley alone for $1050 and that was for 3 hours.

I love it. So cute. Thanks for the info! How far in advanced do you usually have to book them?
Just saw the north fork ones. The red and green remind me of Mr. Roger's neighborhood trolley... I think I'm in love... and I know I'm totally weird like that... I want it... hahaha Is it not wedding-y enough?

hahaha! If you like the red and green one, then go for it!
We booked about a year in advance- I would book as soon as you decide for sure since there aren't many companies with the trolleys. Good luck!!!

ker811: I would love to see your pics! I think I'm leaning toward the white trolley, but the red/green one is adorable too!
I just wanted to comment that I saw a white trolley driving up Sunrise Hwy a couple of weeks ago and I never knew they existed! I couldnt stop staring! It was soooo cute!

Re: TROLLEY vs LIMO?!
I showed my FH the trolley last night and he's on board! SO EXCITED! We should def book it soon!
I have a totally unrelated question for you ladies, and I'll probably post it as a separate topic as well. I know when we are figuring out transportation we have to get our bridal party to the church and from the church to the reception. But what about home from the reception or to the hotel? Who worries about that?
Also, should we book cars for our families to get from A to B (like immediate family and grandparents)?

My bridal party is 21 people so I got a trolley. Much more classy than a party bus (IMO). I can't wait to ride in it and ring the bell!!!!

I am picking up my cd's tomorrow but my pictures are online on a site so I will FM the info to see them. We had a shuttle for our guests staying at the hotel so everyone just took that back at the end of the night. If you have a shuttle, you can do the same.
