We're doing them from Godiva- They come in the pretty gold box and we're having them tied w/ a black sheer satin ribbon. - No work for me !! =)

Re: Truffles as favors
Thinking about giving truffes too. I still haven't decided if we're doing placecard truffle boxes or have placecards as well as truffle boxes.
This is one of the boxes I am considering, without the butterflies, of course.
We are buying ours through truffletrolley.com. We ordered a sample and they were delicious. They will package them iin 2 or 3 truffle boxes and tie the boxes with a coordinating ribbon.

Re: Truffles as favors
we're doing these...my stepmom is making them. here's the box....
They have kind of a special meaning for us... when we got engaged last Valentine's Day he brought me the one thing I asked for- Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffles and oh yea... a ring!
I'm trying to get different ideas with how to package them... I ordered the truffles but I didn't 'love' the truffle boxes they offered so keep those ideas coming! TIA!

Re: Truffles as favors
I LOVE all the packaging options they have at White Aisle for edible favors. Here's the link: http://whiteaisle.com/edible_favors.htm My favorite is the patisserie style

Re: Truffles as favors
I had truffles for my wedding. I used Gabe's Nut and Candy. Pam is the main contact there.
I absolutely loved them and highly recommend them. They are based in PA. Great customer service and our guests seemed to be happy with the truffles. The candy store can ship the product to you or you can pick them up. They have lots of options for boxes and chocolates.
They were very reasonably priced.
Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Re: Truffles as favors
I found the right box, made by Gartner. I bought them at Michaels. I wrapped them with sheer ribbon and attached a charm from Target. I will post the pics later...

Re: Truffles as favors
I'm getting truffles from Sweets for Shore in Long Beach, and we're going to go through all of the owner's catalogs sometime over the summer.

I am placing five white Chocolate Lindt Truffles in a single rose vase. The Vase will be boxed and wrapped.
