I want to do truffles as a favor. Where is a good place to buy them? How does the pricing work? Thanks.

I cant help you with pricing, but a friend of mine gave truffles and they were in a nice box with 3 different lindt truffles. I dont know the nearest store, but they do have an outlet in in riverhead. Hope this helps!!
I was thinking of going to the outlet store (Lindt) and purchasing those big bags they have and buying a small truffle box from online and filling them myself, just as an extra... we are alredy giving wine favors.
I wanted them to have it when they walked out... kinds cheesy but i was putting a tag on it that says thank you for sharing our special day with us, sweet dreams..... (something like that)

My BM just bought Lindt truffles at Price Club cheaply for her own wedding. She got boxes off eBay and we are going to pack them ourselves and tie the boxes with ribbon.
I don't know what she paid for the truffles, but she got them recently.

I checked out the Godiva prices. If we weren't doing full wine bottles too I prob. woudl go with them but here are the prices:
