can anyone tell me what a trunk sale actually is? I recently went to Macy's bridal when they supposedly had a trunk sale and nothing seemed too different. : )

I had the same question... Are trunk sales good to go to...or is it just another way the salons/designers market themselves?

Do you mean a trunk show? A trunk show is when a specific designer brings their latest line to a store or boutique. The actual designer is there to help you and advise you. You are usually able to get a nice discount (10-20%) off as well.
