I need help. How do trunk shows work? If you buy a dress there do you have to take it home with you? Do you have to try it on and hope they have your size? Or can they order the size you want and same process as if you purchased it without the trunk show?
HELP!
TIA!

Re: Trunk Shows
A trunk show is where a certain designer will bring their newest line to a bridal salon and you can try on all the new styles...usually there's a discount on any of that designers gowns if you order that day. Its like ordering any other dress, you wait for them to make it and for it to come in.
A sample sale is where they sell the actual samples that people have tried on and its like buying off the rack...you take it home that day.

Re: Trunk Shows
Also, the designer is sometimes at the trunk show. If so, they may agree to make modifications to the dress -- ex. changing the neckline. I got my dress at a trunk show and it was a great experience.

How do you find out when trunk shows are coming up? Do they usually have ALL sizes

You can check the web sites of designers or bridal salons that you are interested in. They usually only have sample sizes available to try on.
