Re: truss lighting??
instead of being stand alone or on the floor, it usually is up in the air, on a pole that is paralel to the ground. like this...

Re: truss lighting??
you're welcome!
are you having a day or night wedding?
I love lighting, and asked my band if they could bring MORE than they usually use b/c I think it's really important. I know other people who HATE lighting on the dance floor. It's all a matter of taste.
However, the weddings i've been to that do not have any special lights for the dance floor or the musicians have had less people dancing than those that had it. Especially day weddings.
I'm probably no help at all lol

The ones I am getting do stand on the ground. I don't know if there's an option to hook it up to the ceiling at my RH. The top part looks just like that...but there's a pole on each end that it 'stands' on.

do they charge A LOT extra? Personally, i suggest getting at least the minimum light package, but that's just my own opinion. I think it's a more inviting atmosphere on the dance floor. However, it's not neccesary... you know what i mean?
You would know your guests better than i do...

are they 'intelligent' lights? how high is the truss? how many lights are on the truss? i can try to figure it out for you. i used to do lighting for work.
