Trying not to be a brideszilla...

Ok let me start this off by saying this is a total vent.

My good friend and one of my brides maids got engaged months after I did. I was very happy for her and excited because I thought this meant we would get to talk all about wedding stuff together. Since she has been engaged, she has been very standoffish about my wedding. Has not asked about any of the details, not said anything about my RH, nothing!!!! BUT... we talk about her wedding all the time! She has not asked my opinion on any of the brides maid dresses (not that she has too but.... aren't that what friends are for??)

For some reason now I just feel like being a totally bridezilla and just tell her to let someone else have their day!!!

Ok...I feel a little better now....

Just try to ignore it. Don't mention your wedding and steer the topic away from hers.

I'm sorry you are going through this. It might be best to avoid Wedding related topics all together or when she is talking about her wedding, slyly metion your own as an effort to try and help her.

i.e. She mentions the kind of cake she want and you tell her about the flavors you tasted at the RH, etc.
