I am so sorry for your loss. The death of a loved one is always so hard to handle. Especially when you are in the process of planning and celebrating happiness and love. Just know that whatever emotions and feelings you feel, let them out. Now is not your time to be strong. Now is your time to grieve and let it out.

I'm sorry to hear about your brother. I can't imagine that pain, but as the other girls have mentioned, he would want you to be very happy on your wedding day. Are you going to do a memorial candle for him? No matter what, he will be there to watch over you for a long, long time.

Stay strong...remember all people grieve differently...your Dad may not be up for comedy...he probably feels a lot of guilt (which he shouldn't!!!)...

Sorry to hear about your loss.
Everyone deals with loss differently. If you deal by moving on and having a laugh, don't let you father stop you but, at the same time, let him deal the way he has to. My prayers are with all of you!

I am sure your wedding day will be a joyous one regardless. Life is not just about the good times as most marriage ceremonies are quick to point out. Life is about joy mixed with sorrow. I'm sure he would be happy for you!

I'm so sorry about your loss. It's so hard when the holidays and birthdays come around. Just try to get through it...and you know what? If you don't feel like going out on your birthday, you don't have to. People who really care about you will understand. I know exactly what you are going thru. My father passed away so unexpectedly, too. It's not even a year yet and it's hard with all of the wedding plans, but you have to remember the good times. It's what your brother would have wanted. You have a personal guardian angel now, who will be there with you to celebrate your birthday however you choose to celebrate it. Sending you best wishes on your birthday.
