Trying to figure out if my shower is today!
I'm supposed to be going to my aunt's around 3pm today for my cousin's graduation/farewell party. However, I'm going nuts trying to figure out if it's really my shower!!!!
Up until yesterday I was totally convinced it was today, but now I'm not entirely sure. FH's family is going to Montauk today for the week. FH asked his mom last night what time she'd be leaving today, and she said early, at about 8:30am. Plus when I was at his house, I saw a bunch of bags and stuff that I know they'd be taking on the trip. And we had to run out to get ice for them for the cooler. Then FH mentioned to his mom while I was in the next room how he's going to my cousin's grad party today. They might be trying to throw me off, but I don't know if they'd go to such lengths. But maybe FH's family is just gonna head out to Montauk after the shower?
Then my mom tells me yesterday how one of my aunt's may not be coming to my cousin's grad party because she claims she didn't know about it and that my other aunt never told her. I don't know if my mom would exactly come up with a story like this to throw me off. When I asked her what to wear, she said she thinks it's casual and probably shorts would be ok. But then she said maybe something a lil nicer because it is a party, although she doesn't know who's coming, etc.
One of my BMs went to Riverhead for the weekend. Maybe she'd be back in time, but I don't know.
Do you think everyone is doing this to throw me off? Part of me so desperately wants to peek at my registry to see if most of the items are gone! But I'm trying to have will power not do it!
