As much as i love teaching, what's going on with my school, and the abuse that i'm dealing with from the head honchos, I've decided next year I am not going back.
With how sick I always am the doctors said that the situations they are putting me in, leads to my immune system becoming so low from stress and its not healthy. With past health conditions I DO NOT want to end up sick..
FH says I should get a small job in Sept and consider going back to finish my masters. But in my head, that looks like... I got married to sit at home and do nothing. I don't know...
Does anyone have any good ideas of where I could work ? With the economy so bad I know I should be kissing my jobs feet but, mentally I can't handle it...

Maybe you could work part time in a learning center while you finish your masters? Or even try another district or a private school? Don't worry about what other people think... do what's best for you, your happiness, and your future. *NO* job is worth losing your health.

I was thinking part time learning center too... I cant go to another school without the principal signing off and i know she wont....which means i have to just not go back next year...

I WISH! I work for the catholic school, we have no union and the higher above is the bishop..Here is what is so bad:
No sick days No subs so if someone is absent you lose your free No lunch period (We eat with the children in the classrooms) No personal days Abusive staff

I was thinking of buying that strettching contraption for when fh is mean... keep in under the huge secret hollow tree in the backyard that everyone has....

Who cares if other people think you got married to stay home? You and FH and everyone else who's important know the truth.
If you can afford it, I think you should put your health first. And it'll be to better your family situation.

I say if you are really that unhappy with your job then it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks or says.. especially if you are having health issues. Your health should always come first!! Even if just get a part time job to have some spending money it would be better than being miserable at your current job! Def. look into some private tutoring or another school? I am sorry I cant be of much help with the actual job you should get, but I def. think if you are that unhappy and you can afford to quit you should. I know how it feels to be miserable at work everyday and the stress it puts on you... I wish I could just walk out of here sometimes!

You should consider another job.. Its not healthy for you.. You can consider doing it at another school or just try something different that might interest you.

wow..you need to find a teaching job elsewhere. I realy feel like if you LOVE teaching (which i know you do!) than you shoudlnt leave the profession all together. This school sounds miserable and that can make you sick regardless of the germs!!
