TTC and thyroid scan

I might be over-reacting and freaking out, but I need to ask you girls...

DH and I have been TTC for a few months, but nothing yet. Tried charting, temps, etc, but I just can't seem to get the timing right.

I think I O'd this week, and we did BD, but won't know anything for a few days if it worked or not. Anyway, I'm scheduled for a thyroid scan this week. (I have to take a pill on Wed, then the scan on Thurs) Do you think I should call my doctor tomorrow and ask her if I should reschedule til AF comes, or am I just thinking too much??

I know its hard. I think you should definately keep your doctors appointment. If you are having problems with your thyroid if won't matter if you have AF or not. Keep your appointment and see what your doctor says. If they think you need to come back for more tests for any reason they will let you know.
Don't stress about it! I've read it takes 9 months on average to get PG...and thats for a 'normal' healthy woman - what ever the heck that means.

They won't let you have the scan when you go there and tell them that you are waiting for your period and there is a chance you may be pregnant. I am a nuclear medicine Tech and that is one of the first questions I ask. I would reschedule your test until you can be sure you are not pregnant.

Well, I had to reschedule my scan. Not because of a BFP, but because I couldn't swallow the stupid pill!!!! I'm such a baby that I can't swallow anything that's not round. I have a phobia that I'm going to choke. The BC pills were the BEST, cause they were practically microscopic!!!

So the tech is ordering me a liquid for next week.
