Tuesday 11/30/2010 QOTD

If you were putting together a Time Capsule for you and your FH to open on your 50th wedding anniversary what are some of the things you would put in it?

1) I would put a copy of our lease on our first apartment!
2) A copy of the picture of us on our first date.
3) Our wedding planning lists.(to remember how crazy it was)
4) Our wedding guest list.(to see who we still know)
5) The reciepts to the restaurant we went to the night he proposed.
6) The first card he ever gave me.
7) A napkin and matchbook from our engagement party.

and pretty much anything else that may be forgotten with time and age....

this reminds me of The Notebook.
and i have started our little 'forget me not' collection (long story, but theres a reason we are donating to the alzheimers association instead of favors) ... but i have
-the first pic we took together before we even started dating
-the first card he ever gave me
-movie ticket stubs
-pics from thr night he proposed
and id like to add
-our wedding guest list
-save some wedding flowers
-our lease (i like this idea, thanks)
-a journal that i started filling out when we got engaged

1) the glass i stole from the restaurant on our first date
2) a picture of the first time we ever met
3) a bottle of twisted tea- he has been trying forever to get on the label!)
4) the game baggo bc we play allll the time
5) my chimanea since that has been a lifetime of stories and friends memories
6) UB40 cd- its our favorite
7) all the concert ticket stubs we have ever been to

3- A copy of the papers from our first home
4- A favor from our engagement party
5- The proof of our wedding invitation

I would put:

*Our first picture ever taken together
*The movie ticket stub from our 2nd date
*The cards he gave me because they are always amazing..
*My engagement ring box
*one of the first roses he gave me
*CD with our favorite songs

1. The promise ring he gave me when we first started dating
2. Pics of our first vaca together
3. Pics of the proposal
4. Copy of engagement party invite
5. Pics of our dogs!
6. Tickets to the show I got him for christmas in NC!
7. Any other memorabilia that I could think of or find at the time

8. Copy of Wedding video

9. Tickets from trips we have taken

10. Wedding Guest list

11. A CD of songs we loved

12. Hospital Bracelet from our first born

13. Little things to remember us of years gone by

1. The first rose he ever gave me (I think it was our 3rd day knowing eachother) I still have it at my bedside
2. Our photo album which has pictures of us within the first few months of knowing eachother.
3. Box of memories that I've kept throughout the years
4. Our wedding photos/albums once we get them
