i'm honestly pretty excited for a bencentric epi. he's kinda been forgotten about this season, and i think with a bencentric epi we'll get more answers about the island.

i always hated him... but felt bad when alex died.. that was like his changing point.

Yeah I felt really awful for him then. I hated him with a passion for a long time. Henry Gale my round rear end! But after seeing some of his backstory and how he came to have Alex, that he spared her, I felt like maybe he's not SO bad after all. Especially because it's all the Losties fault that he is the way he is- they shot him, had him healed at the temple at the expense of his 'innocence'. I really hope they don't kill Ben tonight. He's just about my favorite bad guy ever.

i highly doubt he'll die tonight ... they told us he'll 'face his demise' on the coming attractions last week .... if he were really to die, they would NEVER tell us in advance ... they said 'meet', not 'face' his demise which, to me, is a play on words.

i don't trust them sneaky lost writers!

Exactly!!! I really don't think they'll do it. I hope they don't!! Though we could always get our Ben fix from the alternate reality where he's a teacher. Weird!

ok.. thoughts on the epi:

did anyone else get REALLY teary-eyed when ben was talking to Ilana?

um.. thanks for showing the black rock.... can we maybe get some answers? I'm assuming its confirmed that richard arrived on it?

what was with his 'jacob touched me' thing... made me think.. wasn't michael unable to kill himself too?? but in the end, died when the dynamite went off?

i felt SOOOO bad for ben when jack and co showed up and everyone's hugging and everything, and he just stood there. I HATE feeling bad for ben!

and the ending- seriously? blehhhhh nobody cares about CW anymore!
there's far too many questions they need to answer and only 9 episodes left until the SERIES finale!



and ps- next weeks epi looks great...

We don't know for sure that Michael is dead ... maybe he'll come back. Or maybe he DID die since the explosion was not self-induced.

And yes, it's pretty much confirmed that Richard Alpert came to the island on the Black Rock.

I want to know why Ilana needs to protect Sun .... I mean, if Richard Alpert doesn't die because Jacob touched him, then can't Sun also not die for the same reason? And why kill the candidates?!
