Today question has a few parts........ 1) How long were you dating fh before you met your future in laws? 2) how did you meet your future in laws, and how did it go?
I met my fmil about a Month after fh and I had met. It wasn't planned, I had gotten off work early so I went to fhs house, he still lived with his mom. She had also come home from work early so we just met. It was kind of a very short, hi how are you type of meeting.... but we are close now so it must of went ok. I do.t remember when I met ffil.

I met them around 3 months after we were a couple....4 after we met. FH and I were going out to dinner and I was picking him up on the way so he asked me to come in for 5 min. It was very brief.....less than 10 minutes of hi, hello chatter, and we were on our way.

I met his parents after 3 dates. It went really well, they warmed up to me and accepted me immediately! I' very blessed!

1) How long were you dating fh before you met your future in laws? FH and I were dating for about a month before I met his parents.
2) how did you meet your future in laws, and how did it go? I met his parents at his softball tournament. They were nice - didn't have too much to say but I sat with them at the games.

FH is from Texas... After 8 months of dating he got leave from work (he's in the Military) and we took a trip down to Texas. His parents picked us up from the airport and it went really well but I was scared because at this point in our relationship we already knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together so i was afraid they were going to be REALLY judgmental.. but they weren't and the rest is history.

met them a few months after dating
at there house went good with mom dad was not he was pissed casue the dogs kept barking and he was tring to sleep
side note -fh and i were in the basement and the dogs were down there in the other room and they kept barking

I met them before we were officially dating and it went really well. They came to visit him at college and they included me in every activity during the weekend.

2) how did you meet your future in laws, and how did it go? I met them at their house and it went great! I met FFIL first and then FMIL -- They have always been so kind and generous to me, Im such a lucky girl
