Good morning everyone! My boss is out today .. this means more LIW for me! :)
So here’s the big question:
What was the best vacation/trip you have taken with FH? And why?
I have to say one of my favorites so far was when we went to Riviera Maya, Mexico. We missed our connecting flight and were stuck in Miami airport for over 6 hours until the next one. In a situation like this, I may have killed (or at least ended up hating) almost anyone I was stuck with, but FH and I had SO much fun! We went from restaurant to restaurant, bar to bar, shop to shop .. and just kept each other laughing the whole time. We finally made it to Riviera Maya .. but our luggage didn’t! I was miserable (this was always my biggest nightmare when traveling) but FH was amazing. He didn’t get upset, he kept me calm and smiling .. and he figured out we could take a cab to the nearest Walmart so we went and bought swimsuits, shorts and toiletries. Our luggage finally arrived later that night .. I have never been so happy to see my flat iron! lol
The rest of the trip was amazing! It was romantic and fun. We did excursions, we laid out in the sun and relaxed. We drank, we danced. And even though it started off a little rough, it truly was a perfect vacation!

The best trip with FH was last year when we went to Hawaii. It was amazing and that's where FH proposed - making it the best trip EVER!!!!

Last July FH and I went to Italy and France for 2 weeks (Rome, Florence, Venice, and Paris) It was amazing best trip ever!! We also got engaged right before we went so we were still in LA LA Land of being newly engaged!!

The best vacation was when FH and i went to Boston for five days. FH had gone to BU so it was really nice to see him show me around all the sites of Boston and take me to all the hang outs we even saw blue man group which was really cool. It was really nice to see him in his element.
My cousin is a blue man in Boston!!

The best trip FH and I took was last summer when he came with my parents, brother and I to meet the rest of our family in Greece. FH hasn't traveled much and was never even out of the country, so it was like watching a kid with wide eyes. Plus I loved him getting to know our family :)

The best trip we ever went on was to the Bahamas because it was our first real trip we took together. We had such a great time and loved being with each other every day!

Our cruise in Jan when he asked me to marry him. i don't think i've ever seen him happier. I don't know if it was from the relief of proposing or just bc he was so happy! LOL.

I'd say our best was a road trip to Myrtle Beach. We stayed at a family member's condo and we just had an amazing time. I love road trips, that was a really fun part for us. I drove FH crazy putting crazy songs on and dancing in the car! But it was nice and relaxing and somehow more fun than our other getaways.

This is a great question, but it's a hard one to choose just one vacation.
We have gone on many road trips whether it was to CT to see my family or to Potsdam, NY to see his sister while she was in college.
The best vacation we've been on would probably have to be our 9-day cruise last year. Our ports were San Juan, PR, St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Grand Turk. I really enjoyed our time on and off the ship. I enjoyed the time we spent together, the conversations that we shared. :)
Our first vacation ever was in 2006 (it was also his first time going away on vacation with someone that wasn't family) We drove to Atlantic City and then went to Wildwood and Cape May. It's no wonder we're having a travel themed wedding :)

The Bahamas last year. It was my sisters destination wedding & it was just a great time. we loved being at a tropical place together!

wow we have not done much vacationing together some day trips to PA to see some friends of his. we also went to PA for chours stuff for a week but not that romantic
we will be going to PA again for chours but this time we wont e sharing a room hope to to be more romantic

Our trip to Nantucket last summer. We rented a house for the week of fourth of July. While there was some drama with the other couple we were vacationing with, FH and I still had a great time. It further proved to us that we can be happy regardless of where we are or who we are with. Nantucket is where we first started looking at e rings.
