Tuesday QOTD!!!

I promise I won't depress anyone today...as luck would have it for all of you, it appears I actually have WORK to do today so I can't really be as involved as I've been past few days.

So is there anything that you used to do all the time, hobbies, activities, or otherwise, that you've put on the back burner since planning your wedding?

For me, I've had to sacrifice one hobby and one activity. I used to crochet ALL the time, make pocketbooks, blankets, scarves, everything. And I'm good. Really good. I'm really jittery, so I need to contstantly be fidgeting on something, and that was the perfect outlet. Needless to say my sock monkey blanket has been sitting in pieces in a box on my bedroom floor since June. I really hope to be able to start up again as soon as all major vendors are booked in the calm before the storm...I should start an Etsy store or something haha.

Activity wise...I can't remember the last time me and FH just took a drive out east and wandered around Greenport before coming all the way back home. We used to be out there like every week...and now we're just too busy and it seems like every weekend it's something!

Before i started my wedding planning i always used to be on gossip websites or myspace all the time and now i am on this site more than anything and other wedding websites. Also FH and i used to go to the movies every weekend and ever since the wedding planning began we dont go to save money.

I didn't actually have many hobbies. It was so long ago, I don't even remember what I used to do at night besides the gym. FH says I need more interests. I'll read a lot more after I'm done with the wedding I think though.

hmmm i dont think so. Maybe as the wedding gets closer ill have to take more time from other things, but for now I'm still doing as usual.

No I actually got more into scrapbooking, as I created books about FH and I for our e-party and I'm working on one about our engaged year for the shower.

Other hobbies lost was more the result of not having the resources anymore, like singing, since graduating from undergrad I just don't have a place to sing or act. I had planned to get back into tennis this year so I will admit the wedding and house searching kind of kept me from doing that.

not really..i mean we def cut back on going to sporting events to save money but as for a hobby..i play softball in the summer and ill be there for every game..just hope i dont get hurt this yr and have to limp down the aisle

I mange to keep up with all my little things that i do. I love to latch hook and painting. i gave up painting for not b/c it can get expensive but i still get my latch hook stuff.

we used to go on weekend trips once a month and we havent really done that since we got engaged. We plan to get back into that after the wedding. We dont plan on having kids so traveling will be a part of our lives a lot.
